Frequently Asked Questions
đź’› What is the process of reserving a puppy or dog?
To reserve a Lake Sai puppy, we require:
A $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy until he or she is ready to go home.
đź’› How does the deposit work?
Your $500 non-refundable deposit guarantees that your puppy is reserved exclusively for you.
If an unforeseen situation arises and you cannot take your puppy, the deposit may be applied to a future litter within six months or to another available puppy (different color or sex).
Because we carefully screen every home and invest extensive time in matching families, deposits are not refundable for buyer’s personal reasons.
đź’› What is your price range for puppies?
Our puppies’ pricing reflects the health, ethics, and quality we uphold:
Standard Poodles: $3,500–$5,500
French Bulldogs & Miniature Bull Terriers: $4,500–$7,500
Prices vary by pedigree, structure, color, and whether breeding rights are included.
Frenchies and Mini Bulls require intensive care: artificial insemination (3–4 sessions), C-sections, 24/7 monitoring for three weeks after birth, and in some cases females retire after one litter.
These realities, along with veterinary care, organic feeding, and training, are reflected in adoption fees.
Every puppy includes:
Limited AKC registration
Health guarantee & sales contract
Avidog developmental training starting at 3 days old
Litter-box training and early socialization
Vet care (vaccines, deworming, health certificate, microchip)
💛 “I found a cheaper puppy elsewhere…”
Please be cautious: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Lower prices can reflect poor breeding practices, untested genetics, or unsafe conditions.
Before purchasing, always request:
Proof of vaccination and registration papers
DNA genetic test results
Photos or videos of both parents
Live video of the puppy and its environment
Many fraudulent websites have stolen our photos and claim to “sell” puppies that do not exist.
When choosing a breeder, you are not only selecting a family companion — you’re choosing a mentor, supporter, and lifelong partner in your dog’s journey.
đź’› Will we receive updates after reserving a puppy?
Absolutely! We send weekly updates, photos, and/or videos, and share progress on our Facebook page. You’ll also receive holistic food guidance and vaccination schedules.
đź’› Can we visit our puppy before they go home?
Yes — visits are welcome after puppies reach 5 weeks old or have received initial vaccinations.
Please do not visit if you or your pets are unwell.
All guests will be asked to remove shoes and sanitize hands before handling puppies.
(Special arrangements may be made during COVID or flu season.)
đź’› When are puppies ready to go home?
Puppies go home between 9.5 and 11 weeks old, depending on individual readiness and vet clearance.
Each puppy must be fully weaned, litter-trained, and emotionally prepared before leaving.
If you are unable to pick up your puppy during the assigned window, we charge $30/day for extended care.
đź’› Can my puppy be delivered?
Yes! We offer several delivery options:
Pet nanny delivery (in-cabin) within the USA: $800–$1200 (paid directly to the nanny).
Personal pickup at Chattanooga Airport (approx. $125 airline pet fee).
USDA Travel Health Certificate ($150)
Ground delivery available in some areas for an additional fee.
We currently do not ship internationally.
đź’› Are Standard Poodles hypoallergenic?
Yes, Poodles are considered hypoallergenic, but sensitivities vary.
If you have allergies, we recommend meeting a Poodle or consulting your doctor before adoption.
đź’› How big will my puppy get?
Each puppy’s size depends on their parents’ genetics.
We can provide estimates based on each litter’s pedigree and growth pattern.
đź’› Still have questions?
We’re happy to help!
