1. Deposit & Reservation

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy.
This deposit guarantees that the reserved puppy will not be sold to another buyer as long as you adhere to the Picking Up Your Puppy schedule.
Deposits are applied to the final purchase price.
Full payment must be completed before the puppy leaves Lake Sai Heritage.
Accepted methods: PayPal (via our website), credit card, personal check, or money order.

If the buyer cancels for personal reasons, the deposit is transferable (within 6 months) to a future litter but not refundable.

2. Health Guarantee

All Lake Sai puppies are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.
Buyers have 72 hours from receipt of the puppy to have it examined by a licensed veterinarian.
If a serious, untreatable issue is discovered, and verified in writing by the vet, the puppy may be returned at the buyer’s expense for a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping).

Exclusions: Common and easily treatable conditions such as parasites, coccidia, giardia, mild hernias, or kennel cough are not covered. These are naturally occurring and often stress-related, and puppies are routinely dewormed and vaccinated against them before leaving our care.

3. Genetic Health Coverage Clauses

  • Standard Poodles:
    Guaranteed for 24 months (2 years) against genetic moderate or severe hip dysplasia and hereditary retinal eye disease.
    Coverage is valid only if the puppy is continuously fed Life’s Abundance® Nutritional System for the full 26-month period.

    • Hip diagnoses must be confirmed by OFA.

    • Eye conditions must be confirmed by CERF.

    • The puppy must be spayed/neutered and kept as a companion (Limited AKC Registration applies).

  • French Bulldogs & Miniature Bull Terriers:
    Guaranteed for 12 months (1 year) against DNA-confirmed genetic diseases (PRCD, DM, Cataract, PLL, LAD).

4. Lifetime Nutrition-Based Guarantee (Optional)

If the buyer maintains the puppy on Life’s Abundance® Nutritional System + Agility Supplement for its entire lifetime, the puppy is covered under our Lifetime Free Replacement Puppy Program.

If the dog fails to reach the expected lifespan ( 8 years for Poodles. Frenchies and MBTs for 7 years.) due to genetic causes, the buyer is eligible for a replacement puppy of equal value.

5. Nutrition & Care Requirements

Since 60% of hip and systemic disorders are nutrition-related, it is mandatory that all Lake Sai puppies remain on Life’s Abundance® Food and Supplements during the guarantee period.
Removing the puppy from this nutritional system voids both the 2-Year Health Guarantee and the Lifetime Replacement Guarantee.

Our puppies begin Life’s Abundance® from weaning, supplemented with Agility Formula (beginning at 6 months).
This holistic food supports optimal growth, immune function, coat health, and joint integrity.

6. Picking Up Your Puppy

Puppies are ready to go home between 9–11 weeks of age.
Pickups must occur within the scheduled window; otherwise, boarding fees may apply.
Failure to pick up within the timeframe (without prior written arrangement) allows Lake Sai Heritage to reassign the puppy and void the sale.
Shipping or hand delivery via pet nanny is available at buyer’s cost (approx. $700–$1250).

7. First Right of Recovery

If, at any time, the buyer cannot keep the dog, Lake Sai Heritage retains first right of recovery.
The dog must never be sold, transferred, or surrendered to a pet store, broker, or shelter.
We will accept return or rehoming assistance at the buyer’s expense.
We may repurchase the dog at no higher than the original price.
Mistreatment, neglect, or abuse immediately voids all guarantees and may result in recovery action.

8. Bite & Teeth Disclaimer (All Breeds)

We do not guarantee perfect scissor bites or dental alignment.
Tooth development is influenced by growth, teething, and environment; therefore, dental variations are not eligible for compensation or replacement.

9. Ownership & Responsibilities

The buyer agrees to:

  1. Provide regular veterinary care and vaccinations.

  2. Maintain humane housing, exercise, and emotional care.

  3. Socialize the dog responsibly after vaccination.

  4. Feed Life’s Abundance® products exclusively during guarantee periods.

  5. Register the dog with “Lake Sai” as the prefix in its AKC name.

All medical, shipping, and incidental costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
This guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

10. Legal Terms

  • Lake Sai Heritage / Seva Dharma Corporation is not responsible for injury, neglect, or accidents once the puppy leaves our care.

  • No cash refunds will be given except as stated under the 72-hour guarantee.

  • If breeding operations cease, this contract becomes null and void.

  • The buyer affirms they are not acting as a broker, agent, or reseller.

  • Deposit submission signifies full agreement to these terms, whether or not both parties have signed.
